I normally just buy the cheapest supermarket multipacks, 15 denier in natural or black during the summer (even in this recent heatwave aircon still makes it necessary for tights in the office) and 60 denier black opaques in the winter. Recently the Waitrose near my office were selling John Lewis 15 denier 3 pair packs for £1 so I picked up a few packs (including nearly black, I really like this colour). These tights are so much nicer than my usual and also have the added bonus a cotton gusset. I am now thinking I should spend more money on my tights and with a wedding coming up I am thinking about getting an extra special pair. However, faced with a wall of tights in the shops it's impossible to know where to start.
What are your favourite tights? both everyday wear and special occasions. and why would you recommend trying them?
