Capsule wardrobe

Am trying to give myself a style overhaul, so ...
What are your must haves for a capsule wardrobe?

Figure out the main base colours - for me it's charcoal, navy, dark red and white.

Then look at your lifestyle to figure out what you need

I have:
2 pairs of jeans
2 pairs casual trousers
2 pairs work trousers

6 tshirts in different colours
3 shirts

5 dresses/tunics

3 jackets
2 cardigans

3 leggings

The key is to get everything working together - I use wardrobe sudoku (attached)
