Can anyone recommend something? I don't use much make up so don't mind spending a bit to get something with good ethical credentials (ie no animal testing, eco friendly ingredients and packaging). I don't need massive coverage so tinted cc or bb I don't really understand the difference cream should do. Skin is reasonably good, tends towards dry. I need a pale colour, I'm an almost translucent Celt. Tia.

I like Supergoop. They are cruelty-free with mineral sunscreen but they do contain some silicone if that's a concern. I mix two colours because the lightest is a little too light for me and my skin is quite pale. Have a look to see if they fit the rest of your criteria: supergoop.com/products/daily-correct-cc-cream

Lily Lolo BB cream is great, especially for the pale.
I find it is just enough coverage to blur the imperfections.
They do testers for £1 so you can get the right shade before buying a full size one (less waste).
Cruelty free, mineral based, paraben free, and a UK company.

Green People tinted moisturizer in light is good for my pale dehydrated skin. It’s cruelty free and organic.

Also forgot to say you can buy mini tester from their site first to check if it’s right for you :)

I second the green people recommendation.
