Bright red lipstick, suitable for work or an interview? Or not?

Following on from the thread where someone asked this about red nails, what's your view on red lips? Too much for work or an interview? or not?

Depends what sort of work. I work in an art gallery...it wouldn't be remarked upon or thought of.

If you're a nursery teacher, maybe not.

Depends on your skin colouring I think. Milk bottle white with bright red lips no, black or Asian skin tone, maybe.

I'd say it's perfectly normal.

Agree - what kind of job is it?

I would say( maybe unhelpfully) that it depends on the industry, and how well it suits you.
It brings out the best in some people, makes everything else work better. If you are one of those, then I would feel more inclined.
