Handbag help!

Please help, I want to get my 21 year old DD a handbag for her birthday. I want it to be a classic type of bag that she can keep for a long time, and use for interviews etc. It needs to be black and leather.

Any advice? I'm thinking maybe Michael Kors? Any other suggestions?

Budget is up to 300 pounds.
