Going back to uni - recommend me a backpack please!

Going back to uni in September (age 40!!).
I'll need a backpack/ rucksack for my books & notes etc. I'm obviously a 'mature' student so want something practical & that looks good but obviously not what a 18 year old would have!
Recommendations would be gratefully received, thank you

I just bought a v nice one from John Lewis (own brand) in navy leather for £55. Practical but also looks quite smart so very versatile.

If you go with Kanken, get the shoulder pad add ons for comfort

I was back at uni for the last year in my thirties and had a Fjallraven foldsack which is a bit less prevalent than Kanken and a bit plainer (no logo)
Robust, comfy straps, good in the rain ( you rub some wax into it to add more waterproofing), I got mine for 60 quid in a sale.
