Remember when only prisoners wore white runners?

I just looked on landsend and even their models all have white runners on. Every single shop from Hush, Whistles, Jigsaw right down the fashion spectrum to the highly practical Landsend is now unable to accessorise any outfit with anything other than white runners.

What's next after white runners and is it time yet?

I've just looked at Lands End and all I can see are leopard print loafers/slippers and navy ballet pumps. Hush appear to have styled with ankle boots in their new range.

If I recall correctly Hush styles a lot with white Converse in summer which came into fashion again about 20 years ago so I don't think they're going anywhere! We've had Adidas Stan Smiths/Superstars, Superga, Reebok Classics, Vans, etc and they're just an easy neutral summer shoe.

I don't dislike them. They're just so standard now.
