birchbox anyone?

ive just signed up for august birchbox,

is it worth continuing? what do others think of them? i got the first one for 7.95 so thought it worth a shot!

should say - not got it yet! im hopeful!

I got an annual subscription as a gift. I think worth it if you love beauty as it does get tailored to you. I’m not a huge beauty junkie but I do like dipping into it to try stuff out.

I quite enjoyed the little treats every month but cancelled in the end, as I thought I was probably better off just going to boots and spending £14 (cost of box plus postage) on a nice item of my choice.

There was always at least 1 thing in the box that wasn't really to my taste.

I scrapped it after they sent me fake tan. I am of Asian origin. They are supposed to tailor the products to you, but obviously don’t.

I had it for about 6 months and have just cancelled. I got some nice stuff, some crap. When I added up the nice stuff I realised I’d be better off just researching and buying my own birthday products.
They are supposed to tailor the products but after stating that I have very fair skin I have been sent product aimed at dark skin a couple of times, which are obviously no use to me.
I did enjoy getting a treat in the post but it wasn’t value for money.

Cancelled after 3 months! Not impressed.

I had birchbox i just cancelled mine after 6 months, some things were good x
