Finding a sheer black lab coat thing

I recently saw a woman at the airport who was wearing a fabulous, sheer cardigan/kimono/coat (it was largely black but there was some beige in a sort of large arrow at the bottom, on the back). She was too far away to ask or even photograph.

It reached the knees and didn't (and this was a positive in my eyes) have floaty kimono sleeves, instead they were quite fitted. I felt it would be just the thing to cover up my less than wonderful arms when needed. Has anyone seen anything that even roughly matches this description? I'd be very grateful.

Is this the sort of thing you mean. I googled "sheer black duster coat" rather than kimono.

It is sort of - although The One I Saw was simpler - no slits or wrist nonsense and was shorter, but now I have a new word in my vocabulary - duster - I'll set off to explore the strange new internet land it uncovers, thank you...
