How would you style this skirt for work?

I already have it in black so I know I like the fit of it but I'm trying to break out of my rut of black/grey for work. What would you wear with this for Autumn/Winter?

A cute light blouse? Or a chunky sweat, or a shirt/jumper combo?

Is your work smart or can you be a bit creative? You could also pair with a camisole and jacket.

@NonJeNeRegretteRien I'm just about to start at a new school (secondary teacher) and from what I've seen so far it seems mostly smart, semi creative! I'm so bloody bored with my own style at the moment, I feel like I don't even know what to do anymore!

I thought about a shirt jumper combo, I think that would look lovely for autumn

Definitely- maybe in mustard! Or just classic black - you can do so much with that skirt, it’s lovely!

Good luck in the new job 😊

I am currently on maternity leave and my current style is whatever I can breastfeed in... so I also need to rediscover my style at some point!

Ah congratulations! I felt a bit nostalgic when I saw some of the maternity stuff on ASOS today but then I looked at the bomb site that existed where my living room used to be, looked at the 6 year old culprit standing in the middle of the chaos and swiftly scrolled by the maternity clothes! 😄

A chunky knit or a top tucked in, pretty much any top tbh
