Am just off into town. Can I please get your recommendations for mascara less than £10

I love the essence range of mascara from Wilkinson. I'm normally a Benefit girl but after it was recommended in a magazine I tried it and now have a few from the range. Read the reviews on the link!

L’oreal Bronze tube (can’t remember what it’s called) - great dupe for dior show which is ££

Miss sporty pump up the volume only about £4 and definitely one of the best I have used. Wouldn't bother to buy any other now.

I really like Superdrug's MUA Amplify Statement Lash Mascara. It's £3 and totally smudge proof, pretty much waterproof. I have to use micellar water to remove it. I've tried many brands over the years and this one is definitely the best for me.

It progressively darkens your lashes each time you use it and it's on 2 for a tenner on boots!

I absolutely swear by seventeen's waterproof mascara. Boots is having them for less than £1.50 now !

First mascara that I bought which is apparently a brown/black rather than a black. It looks so much better on me, gives it a more natural finish. I wouldn't say it's 100% waterproof, but I find it a better smudge-proof option to regular mascara on busy days.

Wilko's I can't remember the exact name it's the pink one. Only a few quid and lasts all day. Better than the Elizabeth Arden I was oh so loyal to.
