Mulberry Repairs

Hi all. I have a black patent ombre Bayswater that I got at the York Outlet @ 9 years ago. The piping at the side has burst and I want to repair it before selling to fund the purchase of another Mulberry. Do you recommend I go to Mulberry themselves or would I be cheaper and get just the same service elsewhere? I'm in Glasgow BTW.

I would go to Mulberry. I have had the piping repaired on a few bags and have been happy with it.

The bag restoration company are meant to be good

Thanks, think I'll head to the Mulberry shop today.

The bottom has really dropped out of the Mulberry resale market this last year or so, I wouldn't spend a lot on refurb as you might end up making a significant loss.

It's going to cost a hundred to repair. I'm happy with that and hoping I fall in love with it again.

I would only repair it with a view to keeping it, to be honest. It's a lovely bag and will always be a classic. I think you'd regret letting it go for so much less than you paid for it.
I would certainly get on the Mulberry Buy/Swap/Sell pages on Facebook and look at what the bags are selling for nowadays...it's definitely a buyer's market since Brexit.

I'm very happy with Mulberry customer service and repairs, I had piping redone on my Alexa and very happy with it.
