Which New Balance trainers are nicer?

Help me choose! I know there is a price difference, but I just need to choose one pair of comfy shoes that I can walk in for hours on end. I like both (especially because of the pretty metallic details), but don't need both!

I prefer the grey ones, they’re more versatile and will be better at disguising the dirt.

Bombardier25966 · 21/08/2018 14:38

The 373 are super comfortable. Not overly keen on the colour though, but plenty to choose from.

WatercolourFlower · 21/08/2018 14:45

Yes, I'm a bit worried about the pink looking all dirty after a bit of wear !

I prefer the pink.

WatercolourFlower · 21/08/2018 18:14

I'm still so torn between the colours....I've actually ordered both 😬 Just to see which colour and style looks better. I've actually not got a single pair or trainers ...maybe the pink could be my summer pair and the grey could be my winter?! I hope they're comfortable, for some reason my Superga are absolutely killing my feet at the moment

I like the pink

I like the grey too. I bought a lovely pair of burgundy NB trainers a few of months ago. I wore them once & my feet did not like them at all, I was as gutted, haven't experienced that amount of discomfort in any other trainer so I'm back in my £12 primarks that my feet love!

WatercolourFlower · 21/08/2018 21:57

Oh no! I really hope these are comfy 😩 My feet cannot cope with anymore pain, the amount of blisters I've had this summer. Every time I wear shoes that aren't my birkenstocks (basically shoes with a back to them!), I get a blister and rubbing at the back. These are all shoes that have been comfortable previously - shoes I could wear for hours on end. I have no idea why my feet have become so problematic!

Maybe your feet have gone up half a size if it’s happening with all your shoes?
I have some New Balance. They are comfier than my slippers! Love them.

SeaGlassHunter · 21/08/2018 22:04

I have three pairs of NB trainers (two actual running pairs and one for casual wear) and they are the comfiest footwear O own.

posieperkinandpootle · 22/08/2018 00:21

I find New Balance 574 are comfiest for walking. My current ones are khaki with rose gold. I love them

WatercolourFlower · 22/08/2018 07:39

Well, hopefully they'll be comfortable for me. As I said before, this is my first pair of trainers for casual everyday wear....I thought without a doubt they'd be comfortable!
Posie, your trainers sound lovely. Great colours and I love the metallic details on some New Balance.

For those of you that already own a pair, are they hardwearing?

I’ve got a pair of ancient dark grey & bright pink 996s that are brilliant and have worn well and lasted a long time. Though I have to say I dont wear them for days on end, they tend to be used on an occasional basis only. Love them.

I’d go for the pink ones x 2. Wink

WatercolourFlower · 22/08/2018 09:37

I'm glad that they last...trainers seem to be so expensive compared to when I last bought a pair for playing sport years ago...I guess they're just so popular now!
