Don’t know if there are others who like this sort of thing on here but thought I would start a thread for those who favour quality, pared down looks.

What are your best finds of late? What accessories are you looking at to update your basics?

I am currently loving stuff from The Row but it is beyond my budget.
I tend to shop at The White Company and Pure Collection and pick up shoes etc at Jigsaw.

math I could cry when I think back. I had my very own dressmaking and fitting service and all I wanted was a dress from C&A.

I've recently got into Joseph too as my local dress agency sometimes has it in. It seems very well made and one of the few brands I know where the clothes still look good after you've been wearing them all day.

They do Floisme. I recently got rid of a pair of wide-legged Joseph trousers that were at least 12 years old. The ones I replaced them with were the same fabric, same colour, only narrow-legged with jodhpur buttons. The old ones showed almost no signs of wear. I now regret getting rid...

Yes I know, minimalism is very subjective. Some are more ostentatious than others are. I think 50's (or 40's) shoes fit into what is my idea of minimalist fashion though.

I never normally browse in M&S but found what looks to be some minimalist stuff online. Don’t know about the quality but am drawn to the following-

These cashmere jumpers look lovely in nearly all of the colour ways....
