Help My Hair!!

I’m in the process of trying to massively un-frump myself after two children and being in Mum mode for the last three years. I know vaguely what I’m doing with updating my wardrobe and my sadly neglected make up bag - but I don’t have a clue what to do about my hair.

The condition isn’t great, in its natural state (see pictures) it’s got a lot of flyaway hairs and is a bit mad generally, not curly but kinks and goes in all directions. I want to keep it long as it looks awful short! I do dye it every few months and get trims a few times a year (going to start going every six weeks after maternity leave ends).

I use Aldi shampoo and conditioner and no other products, any good recommendations? I do straighten my hair when I can be bothered as I think it looks better (and probably should be using some heat protector thing or something) but wonder if there’s anything I could put on my hair to make its natural state better and more nicely wavy than mad. I wear it tied up mainly (despite preferring it down) as baby is at the grabbing fistfuls stage.

I’m also in the habit of washing it at night (I never have the time to shower in the morning) and letting it dry naturally - would blow drying improve things hugely?

Any help or recommendations appreciated, I’ve never really known what to do with my hair and it’s just a bit dire at the moment!

m.lookfantastic.com/l-oreal-professionnel-serie-expert-vitamino-colour-10-in-1-190ml/11118457.html?affil=thgppc&kwds=43700026569436539&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIkoCoj4r-3AIVS7TtCh0CDwx_EAAYAiAAEgJLhPD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds&dclid=CN6WrZKK_twCFUymUQoddPwDuw this is a lovely all round product that i think would really suit your hair - its a bit pricey but does really work and the condition of mine has improved hugely. Spray on toweldried/damp hair. Also try an argan oil works on dry or wet hair. Don't go to sleep with your hair wet, it will rub against the pillow and ruin the cuticle. Far better to blowdry it.

That looks good, thank you for the recommendation!
