What (flatish) footwear do you wear with them?

I need some new boots. Usually I wear knee length boots because they are comfy and practical whereas I find ankle boots made my short legs look shorter. Also I wear a lot of navy and find brown knee boots look better than black ankle boots (and black tights).

But awfully frumpy? Can't wear heels due to knee problems and boots fit so much better than shoes.

They were my go to boots for 3 years at work.

I’m short and Chelsea boots seem to work ok. Somehow that style looks better than any other flat ankle boots on me (although the most flattering are my ankle boots with a nice slim heel, realise that doesn’t help you much though, sorry).

I’ve got some really nice flat ish black knee high boots from Jones. I am skinny and these fit perfectly around the calf.

Are these frumpy??

My Chelsea boots are also from Russell and Bromley. For Kbee high boots LK Bennet are often good.

I like ballet flats or loafers. Going against the trend, but I always think knee boots make my calves look fat

Mamma I hope not! I have some similar sounding ones I got for a steal in John Lewis sale the other day.

I have a very indelicate ankle indeed and find they are balanced out better in a longer boot.

Ahhh fuck it. I like them so I'll wear them. And will go boot shopping with a spring in my step tomorrow for some brown ones.

White stuff have shoeboots that dip at the ankles in a variety of colours that look great with dresses or i wear chelsea boots.
