What do you do on holiday - foundation or tinted moisturiser?

I use foundation daily but never know what to do on holiday. I tend to tan well and therefore foundation becomes much too pale. Am I better to buy some tinted moisturiser to use instead as I don't see how I can buy foundation the right colour in advance. I wondered about CC cream, would this be any better? I was thinking of trying the IT cosmetics one - anyone tried this?

I take a tinted moisturiser which is quite a bit darker than my usual foundation and then mix them together as I go along

Ah thanks Pretty Id not thought of mixing tinted moisturiser and the foundation. Thanks!

BB cream. I really like the Garnier one that comes in a gold tube. The 'Light' suits me fine. It is quite radiant too.

I have previously used Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser and really liked that too. It is very good value as you get 50ml in a tube (usual sizes on BB creams, tinted moisturisers and foundations, I find are 30ml) for about £35.

I just wear CC cream on holiday. I use the boujous one so very cheap and does the job.

I bought la roche posay bb cream for holiday this year and have started wearing it all the time now, it's great and not too pricey.

I use the Body Shop tinted moisturiser most days over foundation anyway to be fair but always use it on holiday rather than foundation in the UK as well

Frezyderm Colour is an incredible Factor 50 sunscreen with foundation mixed in. Great coverage and elegant sun protection in one.

Thanks everyone. I need to have a good look at the tinted moisturiser and bb creams and see what suits me. Mixing also sounds a good idea.
