What’s with double breasted jackets and coats?

Is anyone wearing them? They look so 80s to me. Minus the shoulder pads.

They don't flatter me in the least. I don't like them.

No nor me. I am looking for a blazer but many are double breasted and really formal which is not the look I’m after.

Instagrammers are all over them aren’t they. So much so I tried one on in TESco but I’m busty and casual and they just don’t work for me.
