Just that really...
Can anyone recommend a tried and tested dupe for Estee Lauders Doublewear foundation please? Currently on maternity leave so trying to be a bit more frugal Grin

L’Oréal Infallible 24 hr Foundation. Not AS longwearing but pretty good for the money.

Boots No 7 Stay Perfect here

mostdays · 20/08/2018 09:29

Revlon Colorstay. It bloody well does stay!

OrcinusOrca · 20/08/2018 09:29

I found Boots No7 really oily in its consistency and not like Double Wear at all.

JeSuisPrest · 20/08/2018 09:40

I've not found anything and believe me I've tried! During more frugal times I've used a primer, Revlon Colorstay and a fixing spray.

Look Fantastic always seem to have EL DW much cheaper than department stores - I think I paid £27 for my last bottle from there, usually about £33 from Boots/HoF.

Rimmel 25 hour foundation is brilliant,v good coverage but not too matte,it's only 7.99 too

QueenOfMyWorld · 20/08/2018 09:49

Oh and it doesn't wear off during the day either

Harryrotter · 20/08/2018 10:03

I have never worn ELDW but have bought the primark one for £5 that I see supposed to be the dupe. Wearing it for the first time today so I will report back.

Victoria889 · 20/08/2018 11:32

I saw someone recommend revlon colourstay, yes it's long wearing and I also bought it as an alternative to EL doublewear, but I chucked it after it severely broke me out and I have dry skin, so I was pretty shocked when I came out in pimples.

newishtofacetinkering · 20/08/2018 16:27

I use Max Factor Lasting Performance and find it to be a superior version of ELDW but am aware that other people do not agree! It's near perfect in my eyes though!

Rimmel 25hr foundation. I used to use estee lauder which used to dry my skin out. The rimmel one is lovely.

Doingreat · 21/08/2018 00:05

@newish is the max factor foundation suitable for dry skin? I'm really tempted to try it.
