Without giving too many details I’m in a position where I’d like to feel comfortable about how I look undressed which is something I haven’t had to worry about for a long time...

I’m a bit overweight so I’m addressing that with sensible eating and exercise but it’s the saggy bits, the stretch marks, the tan lines etc that are worrying me - and at 45 with a naturally soft/curvy figure there are plenty of them 🙄 I’m not imagining turning into some airbrushed Instagram goddess but for my own confidence I’d like to get myself looking the best I can. Any ideas?

I find exfoliating, shaving my legs, triming by lady garden and moisturising my body always helps me.

If you're getting undressed in front of a HCP they won't care. If they were to comment make an official complaint.

If it's for a lover they should be so delighted to be getting a shag they'll not be worried about stretchmarks etc. If they say anything negative then dump them. Are going to be worried about their imperfections?

Just like yourself, pamper your skin eat well get some exercise and live by the rule: men are generally just grateful to see you naked and if its women who will be seeing you all they will look at is the bits they dislike about themselves and how nice yours are.

Nice fingernails, tidy toenails, healthy hair, clean and exfoliated skin, and maybe a shower oil to make you supple-looking. I'd say that's about it!

Good posture.

A lightweight scarf to drape over the (bedside) lamp to create flattering lighting.

My post-baby stomach shows i have had a baby.
My tan lines show i've been in and out pf lakes/rivers/the sea for the last 3 months.
Stretch marks on my thighs show my growth spurt as a teen.
General wobblyness shows my love of white chocolate Magnums.

I have one close friend and one beloved Aunty just have masectomies, that puts my bum-cellulite hatred in perspective.

Eat well, exercise, pamper. That'll make you feel better.
