I'm in love with it, but it's expensive! What do you think? Jigsaw backpack.

I think it depends how old you want to look are...

HundredMilesAnHour · 19/08/2018 20:11

Sorry but I think it looks really cheap and nasty. Definitely not worth £199!!

HuckfromScandal · 19/08/2018 20:12

No

RatRolyPoly · 19/08/2018 20:12

Sorry Hollow. If you love it, you get it.

Orchidflower1 · 19/08/2018 20:13

Sorry it really doesn’t look like £200 worth of bag. If I’d paid £30 from next I’d be happy with it. I’d shop around if that’s the style you’re after.

CurlsLDN · 19/08/2018 20:13

Honestly I think it's not very nice. It could be nice, but the material/leather is too shiny, which combined with the pattern and colour cheapens it.

It also looks as though if you carried anything other than a square cushion it would look all lumpy and out of shape

MrsMozart · 19/08/2018 20:16

Nope.

HollowTalk · 19/08/2018 20:16

Hmmm. What do you mean about how old I am/want to look?

OP posts:
MagicFajita · 19/08/2018 20:20

It depends on how much you want to carry op , those straps are far too thin for more than keys , purse and sunglasses etc

It's really expensive for what it is imo.

DolorestheNewt · 19/08/2018 20:23

I actually do see what you like about it, OP, and I'd be tempted too, but I suspect it won't be comfortable if you have any weight in it. If you carry books or bottles of water, I'd think carefully.

AfterSchoolWorry · 19/08/2018 20:26

Its ugly.

Burgundy and gold. It's nasty.

Cachailleacha · 19/08/2018 20:30

Sorry, but I wouldn't use it myself if it was free.

Jupiter9 · 19/08/2018 21:19

£160 with 20% off... bargain and looks great.

tuttifritti · 19/08/2018 21:22

I think it's lovely

HollowTalk · 19/08/2018 22:34

Sorry, but I wouldn't use it myself if it was free.

That's a bit extreme!

Thanks, @tuttifritti and @Jupiter9.

What will you use it for? I can imagine using it to go to work in London, but not for a casual day out or a date night iyswim

HollowTalk · 19/08/2018 22:39

I work from home so was thinking of using it if I was going abroad or going to London for the day. I wouldn't have to carry anything heavy in it.

TheFairyCaravan · 19/08/2018 22:42

I don’t like it, sorry. It looks like really cheap, i think it’s because it’s shiney.

I’ve just bought a burgundy suede and leather backpack from Acessorize

RatRolyPoly · 19/08/2018 22:43

Oh the age thing; it's just that to me it looks like something I would expect to see on a well-heeled pensioner rather than a middle-aged professional or younger. But that's just my reading of it and I actually felt uncomfortable even writing that! Perhaps I'm just not seeing it as part of an ensemble.

pamplemoussed · 19/08/2018 22:43

The straps are too thin and would dig into your shoulders with any weight inside it. But I quite like it!

purplecorkheart · 19/08/2018 22:47

To me it looks very overpriced. It looks cheap and a bit dated to me honestly.

LockedOutOfMN · 19/08/2018 22:53

I like it, OP. I'd use it for gym stuff or toting my laptop to work.

HollowTalk · 19/08/2018 22:57

But Jigsaw's market isn't retired people!

OP posts:
HollowTalk · 19/08/2018 22:59

Is this the Accessorise backpack? It is quite nice.

OP posts:
RatRolyPoly · 19/08/2018 23:02

I know it isn't! It's just that one bag... In my mind, anyway. That Accessorise one is nicer, I think.
