Basic t shirts that don’t twist or warp in the washing

M&S
H&M

I’m looking at you

In my third appeal on S&B this week please tell me where you get flattering basic tshirts for >£10 that won’t twist or warp in the wash/tumble drier

They need to be less than £10 as we have a baby and a toddler and there are only so many times tomato pasta and prune purée can be washed out.

I just want a top that won’t look cheap, or make my boobs look squint and has a life span of longer than a month.

M&S supima, not the cheap £4.50 ones, the more expensive ones, think they are around a tenner. Or the £7.50 ones with the rounded hem. They are a viscose mix but don't be put off, they are so flattering. I have 8.
The Uniqlo supima are a funny shape IMO. Bit too long to look good over jeans, bit too short to qualify as longline.

George at Asda have a good choice of plain, cheapo t-shirts.

Next quality is shite of late.

I saw the title, thought Uniqlo, and I see several posters have beaten me to it!

I got three from Next recently & was pleasantly surprised with the quality & how well they wash.

Noted @thencamethefools but it was the £7.50 ones that buggered within three washes.

I am in a very big huff with M&S right now, their quality is soooooooooooooo shite but i will definitely check out the Supima range

Uniqlo. The balance of price and quality is not to be beaten on the high street for £12. No, definitely not the cutting edge of Vogue but for the price, they take a lot of beating.

I want to replace a navy Uniqlo henley that I had to throw out; the closest I can find is 3x the price, at £45. It's such a basic I probably will pay it, but I should have bought three, as I did with the grey.
