I need to be in less pain when wearing a bra. Yes I am properly fitted etc I just feel in so much pain when wearing an underwire bra all day - fine for evening or going out etc but I need comfy bras to wear every day. I wear a 30 F - help!

I’m 32F, and I am a big fan of the Panache Porcelain bra, it’s £36 though, but i’m finding the Asda T shirt bra (very, very similar) at £4 to be just as good.

Pinkywoo · 17/08/2018 20:11

I'm a 30G and also love the Panache porcelain (I wear the plunge version) but if I don't want underwires the Freya deco soft cup is good, just don't try running in it!

MyAuntyBadger · 17/08/2018 21:19

Try Brastop for Fantasia, (D + sizes), I like their molded bras, more comfortable than underwired and give a nice shape. They do the Curvy Kate range too but I haven't tried them (other than a swimsuit which was a weird shape so I returned it). They have some good sales too.

Hi I'm a 32gg or 34g depending on brand. I would recommend Bravissimo. They are not cheap average £30 per bra but they are experts on fitting and comfort issues. Even if you're not near a store they will fit you over phone or Skype. Bras are pretty complicated so many things can affect comfort. What works for one woman might not for another. I find bra shopping a nightmare. I would always wear a bra for at least half an hour before deciding to buy it. This is the advantage of shopping online, as I've bought so many that I've just tried on in store and then couldn't wear for an hour because it was so uncomfortable!

HoleyCoMoley · 18/08/2018 15:28

Debenhams have a good range, they also have a sale on at the moment on line

WipsGlitter · 18/08/2018 15:38

Watching!!

I bought a "bra too" for bigger boobs from
M&S giving it a whirl tonight - will report back. It's like a lacy cropped top Shock

arleta66 · 18/08/2018 16:13

Wipsglitter is that the M&s dd+ bralet? I meant to mention that it's super comfy. Not full sup port of a regular bra but pretty good. They come in dress sizing and I bought a 14 and this fits me 32gg/34g. My teen daughter also has one she's 28ff and I bought her size 8.

ggirl · 18/08/2018 16:28

I'm a G cup and this m&s bra is really really comfy

It is as comfy as my Prima Donna £80 bra , more comfy than Fantasie bra.

userabcname · 18/08/2018 16:34

I'm a 36E and honestly the most comfy bras I own are Asda's pack of 2 T shirt bras! Think they are under £10. Tried some more expensive ones from Bravissimo but the Asda ones are better!

TomHardysNextWife · 18/08/2018 16:41

I can see others have recommended Brastop!! I've got some really good Elomi bras that are around £40 but fantastic for quality and comfort. Panache are good too, Fantasie as well.

I've found Curvy Kate to be horribly unpredictable with size and comfort, and M & S are equally horrendous.

misspops · 18/08/2018 16:44

I’m a 32F. I really like the Freya bralet from Bravissimo - think I paid £20. no wiring and has a bit of support (not much ) it’s super comfy though

ETPhoneHome1471 · 18/08/2018 16:45

I'm off to Asda next week for a new bra!

JamAtkins · 18/08/2018 16:46

I'm a 30F and wear this in XS
www.bravissimo.com/products/sugar-candy-non-wired-bra-black-ce101blk/

It's mega comfy non wired suspect its actually a maternity bra

bonzo77 · 18/08/2018 16:46

I think you need to just somehow try everything in your size and the sizes around it. Join the Boob or Bust fb Page.

Underwire and me no longer get on. I find the bit between my boobs unbearable. In any style. So I’ve got a “sugar candy everyday” bra from Bravissimo. It’s really really comfy. The shape it gives is not perfect, and it’s not as supportive as a wired one. And it would show under anything low cut. But for most days, it’s great. I’m a 30F and I got it from Bravissimo. I may get another one too.

bonzo77 · 18/08/2018 16:47

@JamAtkins we are bra twins!!!

FoldyRoll · 18/08/2018 16:50

Go to www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/ and check out the resources on figuring out your shape. There's more to it than size, root width, height, projection etc etc all make a difference to which style of bra is comfy and a good fit. It's complex but worth ploughing through. The people there really know their stuff and will recommend models to try once you've got it all figured out. I did it recently and bought 4 Elomi bras in the sales and for the first time EVER am comfy in underwires.

ShoesJerry · 18/08/2018 18:34

I'm a 30FF and just had a bra fitting in Debenhams yesterday. They were really knowledgeable and spent ages finding me some bras that were really comfy and supportive. Freya is my favourite brand, but it helps to get them fitted as well, especially if you haven't been fitted in a while. I'd gone up 2 cup sizes!

MyGirlDaisy · 18/08/2018 18:35

I am a 30F - I now stick to Fantasie Rebecca Bras - bit boring but I find them so comfortable
