Jeans for those lacking in bum!

Posting on behalf of my mum who's in her mid-60s. She normally wears knee length skirts/dresses as she feels that's what suits her best but has expressed interest in finding some new jeans.
However she feels like the jeans she has tried don't suit her because, in her words, "she has no bum", and has a pretty straight up and down waist/hips.
She's looking for straight leg but not overly skinny. Looking for brands more than specific to one shop as she is based in Ireland, though has access to regular high street (Next, etc) but not M&S or the likes of Joules or Boden. Any help would be great!

Classic Levis 501's would suit her, or the more straight leg wedgie fit. I have narrow hips and these are the ones that suit me. Or I buy Allsaints, also made for a narrow hip, and Topshop straight legs, can't remember what the style is called.

Honestly, recently I prefer Sainsbury's straight leg jeans! The material now seems a bit thinner than it used to be, which is annoying, but the fit is good. I also don't really have a bum and fairly thin thighs and they seem to be suited to that kind of shape. Black version holds the colour for a decent amount of time. They have a certain amount of stretch but hold their shape well, imo.
I did buy Levi's a couple of yrs ago. Fantastic fit in Shop, but they have too much stretch, so they sag in the gusset/waist really badly, so I'm always hoiking them up. With hindsight, I should have got a size smaller to allow for that.

Otherwise, I've seen a lot of ppl recommend Gap but my local shop is always such a mess and I can't be bothered to find and try on loads of stuff, so Sainsbury's it is 😬

Have you looked at not your daughters jeans? Pamela Scott have them.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll pass them along. I totally forgot about Levi's! Blush

Bagel, sadly no Sainsbury's in Ireland but I'll remember for her next visit here Smile
