It’s turned out way more red than I am comfortable with, can I just whack a brown on top?
Help please, how can I quickly fix it?

You need a brown with 'ash' in the title as ash will cover red.

I really love this colour, what dye did you use?

Fatted · 16/08/2018 14:19

As others have said, red fades super quickly so if you wash it every day you'll probably have auburn hair in a week or so anyway.

It was L’Oréal casting creme glows in chocolate brownie.
To be fair now I’ve got my glasses on I can see the whole box hinting at the red!
Not hating it as much now but not sure it’s the colour for me

oh Loreal Casting Creme is semi permanent anyway, just give your hair a few more washes than usual and it will fade out really quickly if that's what you want.

personally I love that colour on you but it's your hair!

Ooooh I love that! Thanks for letting us know what it is, I need a re dye this weekend :)

makeupmaven · 16/08/2018 18:23

It doesn't look bad at all (from your photo anyway), but that variety of red always looks like a box colour. I'd put an ash-toned brown over the top after your hair has had a chance to rest for a bit.

Leave it, you look stunning, it makes your eyes pop !
It will fade soon, if you really don't like it.

Oh you look lovely! Red fades soo fast I wouldn't worry and truly it suits you!
