Is this Fitbit Charge going to be too bulky on me

I've wanted a fitness tracker for a while. I use my phone for actual runs, but wanted something for HR and counting steps. I bought a fitbit charge on prime day but haven't taken it out yet to try as I'm worried it is going to be too chunky / main sized.

I guess I need to find a store that has them on display, but my problem is I think they are all so ugly that I know I won't like how it looks regardless. But the rest of the world wears them and they are sort of just invisible.

What's the style and beauty world's verdict?

It's not that big and chunky. If you are worried about that though and only want it to count your steps rather than telling the time I would get a fitbit flex instead. That's what I have, it's a small band on your wrist

Its not massive and if you don't like the look you can buy alternative straps - I have a nice tan leather one.

The Alta HR is smaller but would do the HR and steps?

I had a surge which is the worst of the worst, looks-wise. The charge isn't as bad. I changed mine for a Garmin Vivoactive 3 at Christmas and that looks much better, it's more expensive but just looks like a normal watch (I have the white one).

I have an Alta HR and lots of people think it's just a normal watch and compliment me on it. I'd swap the Charge for the Alta HR is the size is an issue for you.

I have narrow wrists and was worried the Charge 2 would look big on me. It is big, but not too bad.

If you're worried, consider the Alta HR. It is smaller but does similar things. Less of a display though.

I love my Charge 2, definitely wouldn't change it. I'd say it's 'average watch sized, so it's fine for must people. It's just I tend to wear small faced watches, so it feels bigger than I'm used to. I have quickly got used to it though.

My DS12 wears a Charge 2 and it isn't bulky on him. I have a Versa which is bigger, more of a smart watch. I spent ages debating whether it would be too bulky as I have very small wrists (just over 5").

Here's a couple of photos of my wrist in the Versa and the Charge 2. The Versa actually looks neater to me, as it wraps round closer to my wrist. DS is away tonight or I would upload a photo of his bigger at the age of 12 wrist!

I have small wrists and am generally very petite, but I don’t find it too bulky. I love mine!!

I have the Alta HR, and wear a watch on the same wrist. The Charge was too bulky for me.

IMO Alta HR looks best on but is rubbish as a tracker (in my opinion of course - I know loads of folk like theirs :) )
