Do these shoes go with this dress (pics)

As above. It's a long dress so the shoes won't be particularly visible. I don't really want to buy shoes so I'm hoping you'll say yes! 😁
I know the flower on the shoes isn't great with the detail on the dress.

Actually, here's a better picture of the colours.

No, sorry. Mismatched shades of pink.

Do you have any navy/silver/grey shoes?

Saidthesharktotheflyingfish · 15/08/2018 11:26

Not to my eyes, no (sorry!).

Fleuried · 15/08/2018 11:27

Boo. :(

And would agree with navy/silver/ grey, especially silver.

Fleuried · 15/08/2018 11:29

But thank you.
If I have to buy new shoes, I want a pair I'll wear again so silver is a no.
I'll start shopping then.
Thank you.

I don't think so. The dress is a muted dusky shade of pink with bits of bling and the shoes are a bright peachy shade of pink with flowers. Both the colour and the styling are discordant.
Individually the dress looks lovely and the shoes are very funky, I just don't thing they go together. Sorry.

Fooferella · 15/08/2018 11:30

thing = think

ColinsVeryJolly · 15/08/2018 11:31

That dress looks gorgeous and elegant and would need lovely shoes to match.

Those shoes are quirky and would look fab with a more funky style outfit but would ruin the look of that dress.

InfiniteVariety · 15/08/2018 11:33

I think it's fine if you don't want the trouble/expense of buying something new - who really looks at your feet under a long dress?

Fooferella · 15/08/2018 11:34

That dress looks like it could use some nice strappy heels.

these ones

Fleuried · 15/08/2018 11:42

Thanks for going to the trouble of posting a link Fooftella.
I'm sure I will find something.
Plum would work yes?

OP posts:
TokyoSushi · 15/08/2018 11:45

I don't think plum would work OP, definitely grey/silver

Fleuried · 15/08/2018 11:47

Nude wouldn't work, would it?

OP posts:
NorthernSpirit · 15/08/2018 12:07

No. You’ve tried to be matchy matchy Nd it doesn’t work. I would go for a colour that gives a pop.

Fleuried · 15/08/2018 12:18

Hmm. Non strapy, reasonable height, non stiletto silver shoes that I'll wear again. I don't think they exist but I shall look. Months yet so I'll find sonething.

If you don't want to spend much money can you get something silvery along the lines of a high heeled toe-post type of sandal? I saw a few in the sales the other day which were less than a tenner andvery pretty (in ShoeZone and a similar cheap place)

Tessellated · 15/08/2018 13:47

If you don't want grey or silver I think white or cream would be nice. Or even black would look fine, although it wouldn't be my first pick.

HonkyWonkWoman · 15/08/2018 13:50

Is go for the very pale pink, very easy to find it very pale grey if you don't want Silver.

Worieddd · 15/08/2018 13:50

Not at all sorry

BluebellsareBlue · 15/08/2018 14:04

For me this beautiful dress needs a bit of silver sparkle to make it ping. You honestly will find that you can wear them again and again with lots of different outfits if you have the matching bag. Silver sparkle is my go to if I can't match my bag and shoes with my dress

DavetheCat2001 · 15/08/2018 17:53

Where is the dress from OP? Looks lovely.

I have a pair of Dune sandals that I found in a charity shop that I think would go really well with that dress (not much help I know!)

DavetheCat2001 · 15/08/2018 17:56

Something like these?

Icklepup · 15/08/2018 17:57

No

Ivgotasecretcanyoukeepit · 15/08/2018 19:07

No. Nude barely there sandals would work.
