Trainers/comfy shoes for wide feet

I have really wide feet (think I was H fitting as a child!) and always struggle to find shoes wide enough.

I want some new trainers that will be comfy enough to wear Al the time, walk miles in etc but ideally still look good for everyday wear with jeans. Preferably dark colours that I can also wear for work (smart casual office). Don't have much time to shop in between working and toddler wrangling so would like something I can go in to a high street shop, try on and leave with a pair on a lunch break.

Anyone know which brands are considered wide fitting? Thinking along the lines of Vans/converse etc. Also with support in the soles - hate totally flat soles, they make my feet hurt!

Have a look on simply be etc. I get eee trainers from there.

I have wide feet and for that kind of wear I go for sketchers . For exercise I use ASICS .
Converse or vans are way too flat for me .

Do Birkenstock make trainers, peodar? I have sandals but they feel quite flat and hurt to walk any long distance.

I have to say, I go straight to Hotter, now. It was a wrench accepting it, but boy oh boy my feet love me for it.

Might have to go for more exercise styled trainers as Rosepetal does. My running shoes are New Balance (I think) and are a dream to wear (they were ironically the only things that would fit in my final months of pregnancy).

Comfort wins over style in my world!!

I would say vans are the widest from the converse/superga type trainer. I think it's the eras that are the widest as well.
