Hello style and beauty geniuses. I don’t usually post here but on the odd occasion I have I’ve had brilliant advice.
Dnephew is getting married in late September, in a converted barn / manor type place, so smart but not super formal.
I need a dress that will ideally also work for my work Christmas party, so not too pretty flowery, but obviously don’t want to wear black for a wedding.
I’ve recently lost some weight so would like something a bit fitted to show it off - I’m a 10 top, 10-12 bottom, small boobs bigger bum and thighs and not super keen on my legs so nothing too short.
Budget isn’t huge and I don’t really know where to start to look as I very rarely buy dressy clothes - I’m usually a jeans or denim skirt and Breton tshirt type of girl. I’m 43, if that’s relevant.
Does anyone have any brilliant suggestions, or ideas of shops (online if possible) that I could try?
Budget isn’t huge as I’ll have to buy shoes as well and all the other wedding paraphernalia just as the kids are going back to school needing uniform and 100 pairs of shoes
