T Shirt bra help 32 F

I'm hoping MN can help me hide my nipples!

I have a couple of very sheer tops (thanks to Hush impulse purchases, at least I sent the dreadful bum-clinging dress back) and need a plain non transparent bra to wear with them.

I'm a 32F and currently only wear Freya Soiree, most comfortable bra ever, with great shape, but my nipples show through. I think I need a t shirt bra.

I tried several on in Bravissimo but they all squashed my boobs flat and made them point out to the sides.

Can anyone recommend a bra with a 'normal' shape but a solid cup?

Thankyou for saving my nipples from flesh coloured plasters.😁

I've just bought a t shirt bra from Boux avenue And they do a wide range of sizes in good material.

Thanks for that Hecks , will have a look.

I like the Chantelle Hedona.

ConkerTriumphant · 13/08/2018 13:44

Freya muse in nude. Slightly molded cups, so no nippleage on show, which is a godsend to me as I have nipples like chapel hat pegs

AwkwardAsAllGetout · 13/08/2018 13:45

Freya Deco. I have one in every colour

PickledHoneybuzzard · 13/08/2018 14:22

Oooh thanks for these. The Chantelle looks like it might be perfect, I've tried the deco but the plunge doesn't give me enough support and the muse makes my boobs point east and west!

I think having a smallish back means they need to point out forwards or I just look bulky iyswim.

Totally second the recommendation for Boux Avenue - I've got their t-shirt bra in every colour and rarely wear anything else (I'm a 34G) & they're way cheaper than most big boobed bras!

Branleuse · 13/08/2018 14:30

Debenenhams do tshirt bras in that size.

Spam88 · 13/08/2018 14:31

I like the Wonderbra triangle refined glamour ones (or something like that), although you might not want the extra padding at your size 😬

fabulousathome · 13/08/2018 14:34

Stick a couple of plasters to your bra not your flesh?

Izzadoraduncancan · 13/08/2018 14:40

Without a doubt the answer is Debenhams! They do an amazing t shirt bra - currently wearing one in a 32FF. So comfortable, available in a range of colours (sold in twos) and a great price. I think it's their own range.

I'm a 40 F so a lot broader than you. I have spent a small fortune on bras over my adult life. I now only buy asda t shirt bras they're 4 to 6 pounds each. I came across them after a recommendation from my mum as a quick buy to go under a dress I was wearing to a wedding. I've paid £40 for bras from John Lewis before and the asda ones are definitely more comfortable. Which now I'm old (in my 30s) is my main concern.

princessbear80 · 13/08/2018 14:47

I love Debenhams bras too. I wear this one: www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_150020809286_-1

Covers my nipples nicely and is so comfortable!

poppym12 · 13/08/2018 16:06

Another vote for the debenhams brand ones (also 32f/34e). I sometimes need a 32ff in there thought so best try a few on. I used to wear the freya deco but find the debenhams ones more comfortable.

ShatnersBassoon · 13/08/2018 16:07

Another vote for Debenhams bras. Good choice and value.

ThreadKillerMonster · 13/08/2018 16:18

Yes Asda is the way to go - after years of ill fitting, expensive bra mistakes, I paid £4 for one on the basis that I needed one that day and if I only wore it once and it fell apart in the wash, I would have lost less than a fiver. It was so comfy and such a lovely shape I never wear anything else now. And to be honest, if I had ended up buying one per month I would still have spent less than I was spending before. All Debenhams bras make me look flat chested and the straps slip.

PickledHoneybuzzard · 13/08/2018 21:12

Thank you for all the suggestions, I will be investigating all. As long as they don't flatten my boobs I don't care where they come from!

Marks and Spencer sumptuously soft are a bit padded and don't show nipples . Also very comfy and smooth

Branleuse · 14/08/2018 21:57

Are you going to wear sheer tops with just a bra underneath?
I think i need to stage an intervention

MoorMummy · 14/08/2018 21:59

John Lewis DD plus t shirt bra, about £20.00, I’m usually a 30E but I wear a 30F . They are the only bras I wear and they last ages.

PickledHoneybuzzard · 14/08/2018 23:50

😄😄😄😄 Branleuse they are not sheer as in chiffon, I'm 52 and a bit beyond that ! They are just very slightly see through and my normal bras have quite a distinct lace pattern which shows up and doesn't hide my dark nipples 😳.

I don't think either the lace or the nipples are that noticeable but I want something as invisible as possible that doesn't look like I've strapped them down.
