Wash and wear work dresses

I know nothing about dresses. dd has to have ' business wear' for sixth form and would like some dresses. Wear would I purchase such items?
She is an 8 5ft4 and slightly quirky dresses need to have sleeves and not be too short according to school rules. I don't want to spend too much, maybe £30 at the most as she will need a few.

Look at the M&S viscose swing dresses. Only £15 and no ironing needed.

I have one from Sainsburys and Yumi's viscose ones are good for something a bit different, although maybe not strictly business wear, but I wear them to work in a school.

I buy all my work clothes from eBay and charity shops. It’s a good habit to get into if you plan on going to college or uni and will be poor for several years!

Typical bloody M&S - do something good and then don't restock! There are currently two in the sale in size 6 - a spotty one and a plain black. Might be worth a shot if she's an 8 in other places? spots
