Beautiful gold sandals from Office

I just received these. They’re lovely. But too big by a tiny bit. Strap on heel gapes a bit on tightest setting but footbed feels ok. I need to return them don’t I? They don’t have a 3 or I’d exchange for smaller. They feel like they’d be lovely 😢

Just make another hole with a pin

hellololly · 12/08/2018 13:22

How much were they? Keep them!

Polkapjs · 12/08/2018 13:26

£25. Do you think another hole would pull them in enough? You’re giving me hope! They’re so pretty!

Do mean the strap over the top is too big? The strap that pulls through the buckle? If yes, then just make another hole. I have shockingly narrow feet and have to do that to all my sandals. I use a bradawl and hammer, or a darning needle if the material is thin.

If you meant the strap round the back of your heel, then no, you cannot do anything about that.

Back my heel :-(

Hmm on this angle they are too big aren’t they? I’m having no luck!

I see what you mean, but if they don't fall off the back of your heel when you walk briskly, I think you'll be ok with them. They don't look daft.

LemonysSnicket · 12/08/2018 14:20

They're massively too big I'm afraid.

MrsDc7 · 12/08/2018 15:15

Yeah they look like they’re 3 sizes too big

thedevilinablackdress · 12/08/2018 15:28

Too big - sorry!

hannnnnnnxo · 12/08/2018 15:40

Sorry but I think they look quite basic and so you could find similar sandals elsewhere if they’re out of stock in your size?

I wouldn’t wear sandals that are too big as they will be a pain when walking. Think getting debris, dirt and stones etc in your shoes when walking. Your feet slipping and sliding forwards. Possible blisters or cut skin if your feet rest against an awkward part of the sandal etc. All the beauty of the sandals will be ruined if they don’t fit unfortunately.

hannnnnnnxo · 12/08/2018 15:42

Also could you not check in store? Doesn’t office have a ‘find in store’ option which will show what stores may have your size, then you can ring up and confirm if they do?

Polkapjs · 12/08/2018 16:43

Anyone in Birmingham or York? Nothing near me sadly but a good tip thanks and not an obvious option from the website

Oh thank you!!! Bit more expensive but I might have to go for it based on the colour and softness of the leather!

I have these sandals, theyre gorgeous arent they? But i had to size down as they were a full size too big

justaweeone · 12/08/2018 20:45

Treat yourself Wink

verite · 13/08/2018 00:47

I have these. They are sooooooo comfy. Been searching for years for comfy sandals and finally found them. But yes - sadly they do look too big for you.

MissWimpyDimple · 13/08/2018 23:00

Was in the shop earlier and they have silver and tan too. Really nice.

Polkapjs · 14/08/2018 22:31

I’ve ordered them. My husband suggested returning the too big ones to selfridges when the new ones. I couldn’t! I went back to Tesco when I accidentally walked out with a mesh bag of satsumas over my arm
