He needs one for our holiday but everyone I see is either for teenagers or OAPs!

I needs to be available in an XL too.... any suggestions??

He needs a Tilley hat. Quite expensive but they last forever and can be washed as well as screwed up in your bag when you're out and about. They're brilliant!

Thanks. I’m just googling tiley hats, which style would you go for?

The Cotton Duck I think. If you have a Go Outdoors near you, you can go and have a look at them and try them on. There'll be other stockists too.

Unfortunately we don’t have one around here. I really need to order online

Any other recommendations anyone?

Fjallraven are amazing quality...my summer hat from them has stood up to four years of summer and festival bad treatment and looks like new. I swim in it when really sunny. You can wash it, it floats, secure intro head if windy etc. Shop around as they do them in XL. Or take a look here www.thesportinglodge.co.uk/?s=Hat&post_type=product
