I am a size 18, and 31 weeks pregnant. DH and I have managed to offload the kids for the weekend in a couple of weeks, and we’re going to Claridges for the night. We’ll be having afternoon tea there, followed by dinner at the Ivy. What the fuck do I wear?!
I am a jeans and t-shirt / casual jersey dress type of woman. My cankles are massive and my SPD means heels are out of the question. Plus the fact I’m the size of a small whale.
I’m a HOC autumn, so oranges/greens/turquoise etc are good colours for me. I don’t wear black. I’ve got very pale skin and ginger hair in a pixie crop. I’m 33.
Can anyone please help me find a suitable dress that will take me from afternoon tea to the Ivy? I have no idea how casual/formal I need to be. I don’t want to be overdressed but I want to try to look nice.
