Will these outfits work?

In 2 weeks I have to go to a meeting. It's linked to voluntary work I do, so I don't have to be suited and booted. I want to look casual, but like I've made an effort, if you see what I mean? I'm around s20 at the moment so I'm struggling to find "my style"

Current outfit ideas are:
Wide leg plain trousers with a jersey blazer and a trendy tshirt underneath (I like those Selfish Mother tshirts for example)

Wide leg camouflage print trousers with a plain (black?) top and black jacket/blazer

Any thoughts on which would be suitable? Or better ideas?

I like the sound of the first outfit, it sound cool and you can style it with some jewellery, push up the sleeves of the jacket etc.

What shoes?

How about some ankle grazer trousers and a t shirt? Or something like this?
Wide leg trousers on bigger people can make them look much bigger I find.

Thanks! Hadn't thought about shoes, I have dodgy feet - would trainers work??

My problem is that I can't wear anything even slightly cropped (including ankle grazers) without making my legs look really short and fat. It's so annoying as i'd quite like to wear culottes etc but they look awful.

It's the same with slim fit/skinny/tapered trousers - I've tried to embrace that look but my legs look like parsnips in a big way! I can do wide leg, bootcut and some straight cut (although I have a big tummy so getting straight cut that fit my tummy often look baggier than they should iyswim).

Any advice welcome!

Sorry to be a total bore but I wouldn't wear a slogan t shirt if it's an even slightly formal meeting. It's possible that the people you're meeting won't get it - I just had to Google selfish mother t shirts and didn't know they were a thing!

Maybe go for a cool but slogan free t-shirt?

What colour is the slogan? Silver? Have a silver accessory: a belt or a bag (or I'd wear silver shoes but white is very good too). Don't wear a chunky necklace unless that is very you (MIL wear big necklaces from her home country and looks fab), something delicate and subtle is probably more fashionable. Big silver ring and watch would work though. Otherwise a red or green or white or blue accessory would work. But not all at once!

Thanks - slogan is white so will hopefully go with shoes . I'm not a big jewellery person (hence being clueless!)
