What would you put on your perfume wish list?

I've just signed up to a monthly perfume subscription where I get sent sample sized bottles of any perfume that I choose. I have opted for Tom Ford Tobacco Vanilla first but any ideas what I should put on my wish list to try for the next few months?

Perfumes I like are Hugo Deep Red, Polo Sport and any of the JPG fragrances. Perfumes I don't like are Molecule and Clinique Happy.

I can add some of the Penhaligon's ones to my list but I don't know where to start. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Ooh what’s the subscription?

I have Prada Iris Infusion, Rouge Bunny Rouge Silhouette and Imaginary Authors Memoirs of a Trespasser on my wish list having trialled them all recently.

Oh thanks. I will see if they can go on the list. The one I have joined is www.scentandco.uk/ but it was a toss up between them, www.secretscentbox.co.uk or www.scentaddict.com/. I think they are all quite similar tbh!

I love Armani Because it’s You. I had it as a gift and thought “hmmm, not really my thing” 😐. However, every time I wear it I get “what’s that lovely smell?” comments and it changes on me, as all perfumes do on an individual, and smells very different to the same fragrance on the friend who bought it for me.

I now LOVE IT!

£15 a month for 1 small sample? Go into Debenhams and ask...I usually get a couple of freebies

Lucked · 09/08/2018 19:40

I want try the new Caroline Herrera Good Girl. It get mixed reviews but I like the notes, wonder if it might be nice for autumn.

WTAFIGO · 09/08/2018 19:50

I'm not saying it's great value but it works for me as I can't get to the shops easily for samples and I can't be bothered with the sales chat etc. So this saves me money in the long run as I've taken my chances on full sized bottles before which I didn't like. Believe me on the rare occasion I get to Debenhams or Selfridges I will be shameless in getting samples!

I love Penhaligons. Juniper Sling is my favourite-I wear that everyday. I also have Ellenisia, Luna and Equinox Bloom. Ellenisia is very floral so it’s my least worn. I’m not very good at describing scents but I’d say they’re quite musky.
I also have a bottle of Lilac Path by Lauder-it’s really fresh and a very summery, pretty scent.

Chloe - Love story

OutComeTheWolves · 09/08/2018 19:59

Another vote for juniper sling. It's gorgeous.

WTAFIGO · 09/08/2018 20:03

Juniper sling sounds great - I like a G&T so can be coordinated!

A lifetime supply of Chanel no 5. Gorgeous, I adore it.

MadMaryBoddington · 09/08/2018 21:06

I’m currently loving Poirier d’un Soir by Miller Harris.

Menarefrommarsitwouldseem · 09/08/2018 23:26

I'd be going for TF Noir de Noir, Cafe Rose and Vert de Fleur, then Knize Ten, Gypsy Water, Caron Anarchiste, a couple from Hermes, also, Mugler Cologne and the Prada infusions. Maybe also try out Narcisco, Boucheron, Declaration and Baiser Du Dragon, Si, Safran Troublant, Poivre Piquant, Z14?

MrsLucas · 09/08/2018 23:44

Worth having the old or new Turin/Sanchez, Perfumes: The Guide with you?
