Cotton fitness tops

I find polyester fitness tops so itchy and hot (I know they're mean to be wicking but don't even get to that stage just want to pull it off!) - but I've found it hard to find good cotton ones that survive washing. Supermarket T shirts I've tried so far have been shrinking in the wash - anyone had good experience and can recommend cotton fitness tops?

I have a lovely modal one from Whitestuff. I totally get what you are saying - polyester is awful anywhere especially fitness gear!

I don’t but the ‘wicking’ thing either. Just an excuse to sell us crap, cheap fabric at big prices. My best source of cotton fitness tops is good old TK Maxx.

I don’t BUY it, that should say.

I hate those self wicking tops but cotton can be worse. If you sweat, they just stay damp. I had to wear the self wicking tops in the recent heatwave.

I got a few in M and S they were cotton t shirts with a racer back vest over the top or underneath maybe! Good value and have lasted well.
