Jewellery box/storage

Any recommendations please? Most of my special stuff I wear daily as I don't see the point in keeping it shut away but over the years I have amassed a fair bit of other stuff. A lot of it is stored in the boxes it came in but this takes up a lot of space and it's not very practical.

What do you store your jewellery in?

I store mine in too many places.

You could consider having a safe installed?

I also like the huge mirror/jewellery cabinets they sell on QVC. They are by Lori Greiner I think.

I have a full length mirror that opens up to store jewellery. I love it almost as much as I love my husband and child.

It's not particularly expensive stuff so no safe necessary. Unfortunately I don't have space for a big mirror cabinet.

You can get smaller, wall mounted ones.

That sounds good. Will have a look.

I've seen a hack whereby they hung a full length mirror on the wall but on hinges and it swung open and they put the peg board stuff behind it..added hooks and hung up jewellery. I'll try and find the link

I use Stackers - stackers.com. I thought about them for ages because I like nice bits of costume jewellery and have a reasonable amount. Over time the box has grown to include hubby's cufflinks and watches. I keep it on shelf on wardrobe and cleared up loads of space by disposing of all the packaging / boxes that I was keeping jewellery in.

I keep my expensive items in their boxes. I don’t have a lot of valuable jewellery so this doesn’t create a mess

For cheaper jewellery, I store them in muji wide drawer boxes and keep these boxes in my dressing table. You can also try Stackers (at John Lewis etc)

I use the compartment boxes from places like Home bargains - about £1 each

Great for earrings, bracelets, rings and I stand them on their side in my bathroom drawer cabinet

Necklaces (costume jewellery) I hang on the edge of my curtain pole!

Can you put cup hooks on the inside of a wardrobe door or back of main door to hang necklaces?

Or chicken wire in a large picture frame

Thank you for the suggestions. The muji ones or stacking ones look like what I'm after.
