As above. I'm looking for something decent. I have quite dull and tired looking skin and I'm prone to blackheads ( lovely) and the odd spot. Anyone use a decent brand. I've heard good things about the m&s sleep cream

Hi,

I use a combination of Elemis, Proactive, NuSkin Products and also Mario Badescu. I used to work within the Health & Beauty sectors before I had my children and I found that these brands worked miracles for my skin and also my hubby's. For Dull skin I just found that getting into a constant routine with my skin care and always drinking as much water as possible was a huge help.
Rich green vegetables also helped boost the state of my skin. Lemon water to drink, and also I would try out facial mist sprays.

Hope this is okay and helps you out further.

A hydrating toner can really help make your skin glow. Whether dry or oily, several layers (few drops patted on each time) helps to plump up your skin, therefore decreasing any fine lines as well. I like Etude House Soon Jung (via eBay from Iamlove-Shop). Look for one without alcohol Denat or witch hazel. With ingredients like glycerin, panethenol or Hyaluronic Acid.

Many ppl find double cleansing helps shift the blackheads. A balm/oil cleanser massaged gently, wash off with tepid water, followed by a gentle creamy cleanser (non foaming) like Avène Extremely Gentle Cleanser or similar.

I tend to go fragrance free as my skin is sensitive - either Avene, LRP or Simple, but I just use a thermal water spray at the toner stage.
Sorry I have no advice on the blackheads though :-/

I’m a liz Earle convert, they do a kit which comes with the hot cloth cleanser, toner and moisturiser for around £49 and also a special edition cleanser, the lavender and vetiver one which smells lovely!

I use Clinique Superdefense spf 20 face cream for oily skin as I get spots sometimes
