Ok well I’m already on A/W 18.

None of my coats are right and I want to get one coat that will do for going to work (I work in smart/ casual) and home. Happy to spend a bit, maybe £500, if I can find a coat that will work with whatever I’m wearing.
Closest I have is a Barbour quilted jacket with a belt, but it’s pretty old and some of the stitching is lose.

I usually have two I use in winter. One leather, which needs an upgrade this year.
Picked up an awesome knee length peacoat from Ralph Lauren last year at Bicester, think it was £180 and I wore it day in and day out. Just such a lovely, well made and beautifully tailored coat. And warm!

if i could only have one coat it'd be my barbour cos its light enough for spring/autumn but i can zip in a fleece for winter

beige trench coat literally never goes out of style and goes with everything

One coat?? I have about 20.....

If I had to save one from a burning house it would be my camel max mara coat which I’ve worn for years.

I love my H and M coat

Knee length round collar lovely weight and pockets

£8 in the sale

I also have short coats for driving
A thick coat for outdoor activities
A corduroy coat for wearing with jeans
Waterproof coat for dog walks

You can't have just have coat - it's illegal

I have loads of coats but living in the North East on the coast and having to contend with biting winds in the winter if I could only have one it would have to be a long padded coat.

I have loads but my North Face Arctic Parka is my most used and my Celtic Sheepskin my most loved Smile

I bought a Max Mara (padded) coat about 10 years ago. I was so ashamed about how much I paid for it (£700 ish) that I wouldn’t tell anyone.

It is super thin (you can roll up it up tight to pack it) but really warm (minus temperatures and you are still toasty) and waterproof- I have worn it every year for the past 10 winters (I have had to have the pockets patched but otherwise it still looks perfect). It is still stylish. Best Buy ever.

I couldn't choose one!

I love
My biker
My parka with a the big fur hood
My moncler black down coat with a big hood

I've got lots of others but they are my favourite 3.
