Night out outfit needed....HELP

Im going on a works night out on a few weeks, its a new job SO not been out with them before, Im a size 16 pear shape, I would like a dress, nothing to bright, but dont mind colour,I havnt shopped for "going out" clothes for a looonnnggg time, have no idea whats in and whats out, dont even no what suits me any more. Someone help me please

Have a look on SilkFred. I got some really nice things from there recently.

Can't find my favourite on there are the moment, but it's a bit like this one, bell sleeves, a bit floaty and knee length.

How about some nice culottes and a silky vest top, either tucked in or out depending on length, some nice heels or wedges and jewellery? What sort of places will you be going to? Restaurant or pubs/club etc...

Sorry just re-read and noticed you said a dress! There are probably a few things in the sale at the moment, I've noticed shops are getting their autumn ranges in already I saw Phase Eight had a sale when I went by earlier?

My sister is pear shaped and last night she wore a lovely polka dot midi skirt, with platform shoes as above and a black silky cami and looked fab.

I ordered this www.silkfred.com/boutiques/zibi-london/clothing/summer-dress-floral-print-navy last night. Plan to wear it out for drinks with heeled sandals and tassle earings but get use out of it with tan knee high boots and knitwear in the autumn.
