Jumpsuits for a 40 year old?

everycowandagain · 03/08/2018 10:53

I am seeing lots of people wearing amazing jumpsuits out there, but I can't find where they are buying them from....

ASOS and missguided are too flimsy/skimpy, the Phase Eight ones are too boring! I am (almost) 40 and want something for holiday evenings, smarter day wear etc. I want sleeveless or short sleeves, full length leg or cropped, but no mesh/lace/sideboob!!

Any ideas?

Try Gap - I have one for my holiday, I'm 47. Also Whistles sale has some lovely ones.

Thanks! They aren't places I would usually shop so I will get browsing.

I love a jumpsuit...over the last 8 weeks I've bought the following. Not a mesh/lace/side boob in sight.

I tried on lots more that I liked but they didn't fit. I'm limited to Petite sizes so you might have a lot more choice. IMO New Look (online) had the best choice.

New Look - navy, plain, short sleeve, wrap/belted, cropped wide leg. Great for work.
New Look - blue/tan print, sleeveless, wrap/belted, full length wide leg.

Dorothy Perkins - black/yellow print, short sleeve, wrap/belted, full length tapered leg.
ASOS - blue/brown print, strappy, sleeveless, cropped wide leg. Definitely a more casual one as thinner fabric.

I bought mine in good old M&S. Unfortunately it's sold out now, but they have a few others in stock.

You might struggle to find anything strappy or summery now the autumn clothes are in.

I live in jumpsuits, I tend to get most from New Look- they tend to be wrap front so easier for the toilet.

Others I am currently wearing are from Tesco's (good length on them for long torso), Stradivarius and Pull & Bear.
