Trainers that make big feet look smaller

I love Converse I’m other people but they make my size 7s look like clown feet.

Smaller? I think I need a slightly chunkier trainer for a shortening effect as Converse always look very long and thin despite my feet being wide. Waaaaay back in the late 90s I used to love the old skater style Vans and they worked for me. They’re not a style they seem
To sell any more though.

How about something like the Nike frees or barefoot minimalist style trainers - tend to be wider and foot hugging! I just bought these and LOVE them. Realise they're more trainer-y than converse though...

Get yourself to a skateboard shop (2seasons perhaps) and they have the old chunky skater trainers which I find are great on big feet - mine included!

I have size 8 quite wide feet and find it varies from shops to shop which ones make your feet look like clowns feet! I have a pair of white slip on plimsolls from Matalan (look converse in style) which don't look huge! I also had some lovely rocketdog slip ons a few years ago which looked great too. Will try and find some links.

A 7 isn't that big! But if you want something chunkier than Converse try Nike Air Max or Air Force 1s.

I wear new balance which I think look fine, but try sports direct men’s section for skater style trainers.
Anything a bit wide looks best. Also, I think the white toe on converse makes them look even longer!

I like the one star converse. I think the classic style makes big feet look like flippers.

Or hi-top vans seem to shorten my foot

Rocket Dogs, they are wider than Converse and have a very blunt-looking toe - and come in lots of funky patterns too!
