Protected Species waterproof jackets-what's the sizing like?

Hi I've had my eye on the parka for a while and I'm going to take advantage of the MN offer but wondered what the sizing is like. I'm a size 8-10 but they are available in size 6-8 or 10-12. Thanks

I’ve not tried the parka so not sure how helpful this will be but I sent for the raincoat last year (returned cos of the colour) and my usual size was a close fit - it didn’t allow much room for layering.

I'm a standard 12 and have the 10-12 which fits me well and has room for layering underneath

I'd tried on the 6-8 and actually it still fit albeit it was a neater fit - I think you'd be fine in that. They do free returns so you could try both?

Hmm those are very stylish. They don’t look very thick/warm though. I wonder if they are up to proper winter weather.

Ah I see it says lightweight fabric offers ‘layering’ opportunities for all year round wear. So not a winter coat then, unless you put a fleece underneath. That’s a shame. I’ve been looking for a stylish winter parka for so very long.
