Tinted moisturiser recommendations

It’s mainly for dd who rarely wears makeup but feels more confident when she is, I suggested maybe a tinted moisturiser- I used to use Olay one and it was ok but any other that are good?

What about a BB cream? A bit more coverage than tinted moisturiser and give a healthy glow. Garnier do a good one.

Sounds good, what actually is a BB cream? I’ve seen them but was unsure Blush

I really like Nivea day cream tinted moisturiser. I've used it since I was 15 and despite trying other brands have always come back to this.

It's quite subtle but I apply it slightly thicker for a night out and it gives nice coverage. During the day it just very naturally evens things out. People often comment that I have nice skin!

Bobbi browns bb cream is fab. No need for foundation

My favourite is Nars radiant tinted moisturiser (spf 30). Great colour range. Lots of people swear by Laura Mercier, but I didn't get on with the colours that well.
If you want more coverage and a higher SPf (50) It Cosmetics BB cream is good too.

Another vote for Nars - I also rate it over Laura Mercier.

Nars

Wow Nars seems popular, I was gonna order online but it’s so many shades and peach/yellow undertones that I’m clueless about

If your DD already uses foundation, there are websites that will match shades from different brands. That’s how I picked my Nars shade. Just google foundation colour match.

Ideally it's worth trying in a store. If that's not possible, if it's any comfort I also bought my first tube of Nars after researching online and it was bang on.
The Nars website also has its own foundation finder but I found I had to have a few goes on their website and others. As a final check I found MakeupAlley.com quite useful because you can read reviews of the product you are thinking of buying, filtered by skin tone so you get a rough idea of suitable shades.

I use Olay BB cream, just a little coverage for 'no make up' days, no smell and really easy to apply. It's often on offer too.

I love Nars Radiant TM too, but can only one it in the summer, their colours run dark.

Try before you buy!
