Love the bag but think the dress may be a little old fashioned for a 24yr old .....

Paddington23 · 31/07/2018 20:12

It doesn’t look that flattering on the model but if it suits you and you like it, go for it.

HoleyCoMoley · 31/07/2018 20:13

I think it's nice, with gold jewellery and a clutch bag, if you want other ideas what's your size, what length do you like and what's your budget.

Chillyegg · 31/07/2018 20:13

It’s a bit old and I’d probably wear it for work

OlennasWimple · 31/07/2018 20:14

I like the dress if you are after a cheap-ish LBD, but there are much nicer dresses out there!

What are your size, shape and colourings and what's your budget?

ShirleyPhallus · 31/07/2018 20:16

I’d make the most of wearing something really beautiful at 24! What size and shape are you?

The dress isn’t special enough - looks like something I’d wear to work tbh

Butterflycookie · 31/07/2018 20:17

I like the dress Grin. Maybe a nice statement necklace or something to go with it, to match ththe clutch. What will you be doing on your birthday?

Coolhotsummer · 31/07/2018 20:17

It’s very plain and the neckline is a bit high. I’d go for something more striking.

HoleyCoMoley · 31/07/2018 20:17

FLORADAY have some very reasonable lbd, less formal and some are a bit floaty, more room for your special meal.Smile

neveradullmoment99 · 31/07/2018 20:21

Its a lovely dress but agree that its a little plain and reserved for a 24 year old. For something beautiful but classy, try Ted Baker.

SilverHairedCat · 31/07/2018 20:21

That's bag is GORGEOUS!

The dress is something I'd probably wear for work, sorry.

What size are you? What do you like? Legs out? Colours?

neveradullmoment99 · 31/07/2018 20:24

Or for something cheaper maybe try something like this - Skater style:

Or something else like this from Lipsy:

ShirleyPhallus · 31/07/2018 20:29

That Ted dress is lovely. Some of the other suggestions are a bit dull though!

MadMaryBoddington · 31/07/2018 20:50

Love the clutch. Dress is ok but the neckline is a bit safe. Does it have to be a black dress or are you open to colour or prints?

Paddington23 · 31/07/2018 21:01

Love the ted baker I to think my dress is plain seen some lovely ones but all seem to revealing

Last Dress is nice just not sure

OP posts:
SilverHairedCat · 31/07/2018 21:32

That last one looks rather cheaply made, OP. Do you have a budget in mind? I'm sure we can find you better quality in your budget.

Plughole3 · 31/07/2018 21:33

I prefer the warehouse one to the Asos one. Do you want short, tight or demure?
