Stockings or hold ups ... for a short person ?

Can anyone help me .

I want to buy some decent stockings or hold ups.

I am 5’3 so do not want to waste money on ones that will be too long .

Any recommendations please ?

I'm 5'6" but have tiny legs (27in inside) and I wear M&S hold ups in size small.

M&S seconded!

@BlairWaldorfLovesShopping, ditto re leg length but am a couple of inches shorter in height. What sort of styles are you wearing at the moment, and which shops do you find suit best?
Do you take up a lot of things?
(I'm fairly happy with my stuff but interested to hear what someone else does, especially as, going by your username, you are probably more heavily into fashion.

I remember looking at fashion blogs a few years ago and one blogger who was short-waisted was 4'11 but had legs longer than mine :/ )

Thanks will try the M and S ones

I have never measured my thighs and am too scared to do that !!

It is more the leg length that I am worried about .

Does anyone wear stockings any more ? Want to try some but unsure where to get them from .

I think the PP means her inside leg length is 27 inches - not width/circumference.

Lol yes, meant that my legs are short in proportion to my whole body even though I'm not short overall. I'd be too scared to measure thigh circumference too!

penny I generally get skinny jeans taken up but sometimes a short leg length is short enough (eg in topshop). Even though I have a long torso, I'm not long waisted (waist is quite high) so high waisted things are usually what I go for to balance myself. I'd love to chat about what I'm wearing atm but I'm 39+5 with my first baby today Grin and feel like I've been wearing the same 10 items for months! Also been too hot to wear hold ups since April, lol. Can't wait to wear some normal things again. :)

Glad I am not the only short legged person .

I have had surgery so am looking forward to wearing normal clothes again too.

Good luck blair
