I am interested in this but alas, I fear I know the answer. I’ve always had big thighs (despite being slimish generally) and I’ve always found anything that purports to help just draws attention to them. I think a standard bikini bottom is probably actually the best bet.

Agree

NOT shorts style, looks far worse

If your tummy's ok then a fairly low cut full cover bikini bottom is good. So not too much fabric at the front but enough at the back to avoid VPL/double bum issues. No bows on the sides or anything which calls attention

Choose a bikini top which balances you out eg padded balconette is good for making your bust and shoulders look broader to balance thighs

Thanks both. Sadly after no 3 tummy is hanging. Yuk !

how do you look in your knickers? bikini is the same.i

huge frumpy high waisters make any arse look colossal, and will also be hot and soggy.

board shorts. practical and look good.

I think the roll top bikini bottoms are good for the tummy because you can choose what height to fold them at and there's no hard line of elastic to create a muffin top.

I've had this problem for years and years without the excuse of 3 children and have sadly concluded that there is no bikini solution for big thighs. Not until bloomers come back into fashion.

Personally I've adopted a 'What Would Liz Taylor Do?' approach: I wear a balcony style bikini that draws attention up top, and then throw a sheer kaftan over it, so there's an impression of bare skin but with a nice blurry veil over the wobble.

I agree with @specialsubject. Board shorts are the way forward (for me anyway). Just purchased a couple of pairs and feel so much more comfortable and happy. Covers up the old bum bum and means no more doing my bikini line (praise be!), and I can muck about in the pool with my DD and not be constantly worrying that the old girl will escape.

At the beach in France this week and everyone's in a bikini (ok maybe not the men), all shapes and sizes. Standard bikini bottoms look fine on everyone! Tie sides are nice if you don't like them to dig in.

I like your approach Naice Grin

I agree with @EgonSpengler. Fed up in tiny bikini bottoms. Looked for board shorts but I think what I actually ended up with are running shorts. They have an inner small pant and then short very light shorts on top. this kind of thing:
