Waxing becoming increasingly painful

Hello - first time posting in Style and Beauty.

I have been waxing since I was a teenager, so well over a decade. Underarms and bikini are fine (painful but bearable) but legs have always been very painful and as the years go on the pain seems to be getting worse. It's to the point now I can't have my legs all waxed in one go (I go once for upper legs and once for lower) and tbh if it continues like this I don't know if I can continue having them done at all.

I don't like shaving/creams and I'm concerned laser will be just as/if not more painful (plus cost etc).

Has anyone else experienced similar? Or does anyone have any advice?

TIA

Could you shave them? It’s a bit primitive and at this time of year it’s a full-on job but it’s inexpensive and painfree.
