A foldable, wide brimmed, straw type hat

This is what I am looking for. I can't find one anywhere. Foldable so that it will survive the journey in my suitcase, wide brimmed so that the sun stays off my face and ideally as plain as possible.

I can find lots of foldable hats but they don't have wide brims. I can find lots of straw hats but they're not foldable.

I needed exactly the same thing.I got one from Zara. Soft straw panama style. Didn't specifically claim to be foldable, but it survived two journeys in my suitcase and being shoved in a tote bag all week, without any distortion, so I think it fits the bill. Good sun protection and I was very happy with the way it looked and functioned. Maybe just buy a cheapish soft straw one and hope for the best? I can't see the one I have on the Zara site now. Accessorise had some too (with VERY wide brims).

Search Hawkins Hats (plus perhaps Ladies) on Amazon. Lovely styles and many crushable/foldable. I paid about £40 for one they supply to Joy. You can buy direct for less than a tenner.
